Coticule are awesome stones.
Here are mine...the one on left I am not sure it is even a coti but the rest are. Notice the green one. I think it is the water that makes it turn green but not sure. Our water is very hard and lots of menerals. The one on the right is a natural and is one of the best polishers I have...it is very uncomon I think for coti rocksAttachment 103152!
Thought I would post the two coticules that I have. First one is a standard grade bout glued to slate, no clue as the vein. Fairly slow on water and the second I thought was a La Petite Blanche cause of the line in the side, but it is glued to BBW and the line is more purple than blue. I am still working out the kinks on this stones, but so far seems to be fairly fast on slurry and water. Also on a side note the slurry stone I think is a La Grosse Blanche since it developed brown spots on it, but it didn't get them till after I used it to create slurry on the BBW side and it took about 30-45min for them to show up. Never got them from the bout or sitting with water on it. Thought I would throw that in there since I read alot of posts about why the spots might form.
