Better photos of not a CF what is it?
It was sold to me as a possible Charnley Forest. It wasn't overhyped and it wasn't expensive. It seems to finish as well as my B/G Thuri which I have on good authority is a very good Thuri. It slurries paisty grey which dries white but the stone is grey green. There are a few maybe three or four very small veins of red can't be seen in the photos. The speckles are evenly distributed around the stone and don't seem to affect honing. The only picture I have seen of a Tam is much more mottled with dark specks this stone shows the specks as quite clear little pin spots. There are two very small flake chips on one end the rest of the stone is smooth squared.
It will self slurry after many passes but only lightly.
It has a similar clink sound when the spine hits as the Thuri but then so does my PHIG. Any educated guesses from these poor photos? I may have to send this to a "authorized honemeister" for evaluation.
