Thanked: 10Its called physiological price war fare, I kept bidding ever time I was out bided simply to creating an illusion. Four days to go and the price was £31 with 18 bids. When you have a look at this, you will think Its just four days to go and the price is high, and all these guys are prepared to go to war, You probably going think I will end at £150. My advise next time would be to place your maximum you are willing to pay 15 sec before the auction end.

Thanked: 109There are other stones which can do as well maybe even better. The real value in an Escher is the consistency. You might test 6 chinese before you find a good one. You can skip the high price and the search(but that is really the fun part) by simply buying a synthetic. My Escher was a revelation and now I can see.
It just keeps getting better.
