I have yet to try the Chosera, but my favorite of the ones I've tried is the King 1k(though I might like the King 800 a little better).

Huh does that mean that you feel that naniwa or chosera are easier to pronounce?

    King is easy

I use a King 1200 water stone ‘If’ I need to! I like the way the blade responds and how easily the Norton 4k brings the edge up to speed!

I’d actually purchased the stone to try on finishing professional quality knives on.

I didn’t like the results and stuck with my classic Norton Tri Stone using oil.

Good thing that I saved it! That was years and years before I found the wonderful world of shaving with a straight!

With all this said, I love working with that stone!
