    Default Small Swaty hone

I bought this hone a while ago and I have not really used it. I have a small coticule, a small paddle strop with T.I paste,Thuringian and a Escher hone that I use as my finally finisher.
My question is, were do I put my small Swarty hone in this line up? how many grit is it?
    Thanks
    Uncle George

I'm sure the experts will answer soon, but here is my 2 cents:
I don't think that it fits in your lineup listed. You have plenty of great stones to handle honing. I would use it as a touch up hone while traveling.
A good grab, thanks for sharing it.

It's hard to tell from the pictures, but could that be about 2/3 of a full Swaty? My first impression was that was part of a broken stone. That doesn't make it less useful, just smaller. Try shaving off it, see how you like it as a finisher.
Don't get hung up on hanging hairs.

I have one too! It is a handy little thing. Keeping the backside flat, I use mine on scissors and all sorts of things. It is good to clean up the surface of some hones and to raise slurry on some too! It should be the size of the other hone shown.
