Default My Hone collection so far

My collection is growing; Llyn Melynllyn, Thuringian Hone, Escher hone and and Charnley Forest.
Then I have a vintage french leather traveling strop with a Thiers Issard Paste in case I get Lazy.
It all happened because I got bored on sunny day, I was on youtube, and I came across the video below, got my first TI razor then the rest is history!

Feelgeorge13, I would be interested to know if you use each one separately on different razors or do you use them as a progression?

You'e got an unboxed Charnley? I've never seen one. Cool.

    Plus, Same question as turando72.

Well to answer your question, I depends on my mood, If I am in a rush I jump straight to my Thuringian then finishing on my Escher, because my razors are both shave ready so they need a touch up to keep the edge shape.

But If its a weekend, I will take my time and use my Llyn Melynllyn, X 10 stocks, Thuringian Hone x 6, Escher hone x6 and and Charnley Forest x 20-40. My Thuringian is really good, it puts the fear of God in my razors, then my Escher gives it that nice mirror look, then my CF so refines the edge.

I recently bought my Charney forest stone from "taylors1000",he sold me my Thuringian as well. He is a nice guy, easy to chat with, doesnt take life all too serious, always ready to help and always flexible on the price, he gave me 10g Each of CrO & Ferric Oxide Strop Dressing and gave me another small slate which I use as a slurry stone.Name: IMG-20120908-WA0003.jpg
