Does anyone know about the AutoKeen Sharpener barber hone? One side is the hard dark brown hone and the other side is a cushioned leather side. I found an old cutler magazine on google books that mentions sharpening blades with 15 strokes for dull blades each side. It doesn't mention water or lather. It talks about doing 10 circles each side as well. Now I notice the advertisement says for all safety razor blades.

I am wondering if anyone has used this for touching up straight razors.
