Gooner, please detail how your friend went about asking you to GIVE him something. I am just as broke as the next guy and try to be a really nice person but I've never been able to convince anyone to GIVE me anything I'm just wondering what technique he used on you? Thanks and please share

I'm afraid I can't help you there Brooksie as he didn't ask!

It was in original condition, faded red, well-worn, but nice.
This was and still is my favorite combination; beautiful, original, and worn.

You're right - if one was clearly better it would have been easy (I was taught the same as you)
