    Default Norton Barber Hone find

I found this today at a garage sale.
It had been subjected to a bit of abuse over the years and was a little dished out, but I just finished lapping it and its looking much better now.
    It measures 5 x 2 inches.
My heart started pounding when I saw it, cause I have seen Norton hones similar to this go for more than $500 on ebay and I'm sure I remember Sham saying they were the one of the best stones he's had. I'm just hoping thats what this is.
I'm looking forward to trying it out, the fine side feels ultra smooth.
How do you guys think I did, is it worth the 1 DOLLAR I paid for it

It may not be the Real Thing! Before you use it on your razors; you may want to pass it around for us to test to make sure it's ok!

Cool, I'd like to know what you think of it on razors. Another member, a few years ago , said it was the best thing since sliced bread. Better than a zulu hone.

No, no, Sham said "mortons" like the salt... That one you have is no good.. I hate to see you get taken, so I will buy from you for two dollars.... I am here for you buddy... Make that shipping included if you don't mind... There is a recession on this side of the pond you know...
