Thanked: 1Oklahoma Barber Shaves
I was in Oklahoma City recently and found a shave shop with an in-house barber who does straight-razor shaves. It was a great experience--hot towels, balms, everything it should be. The barber is a young guy, not some 80 year old last-of-a-dying-breed type, but he did sport leather sleeve garters. He also holds periodic shaving classes. The store is very well stocked with high-quality shaving products--more than I have seen on most websites--and multiple DOVO razors. I picked up a great leather/linen strop that was very reasonably priced. They also have a local artisan who refits old blades into hand-carved nickel scales. The owner is very helpful and knowledgeable. If you are in Oklahoma City, it is worth a stop. The webpage does not have much info, but you can link to their Facebook page for more.
