    Default Shiageto 1500

    I ran across an add for a Masahiro benchstone: Shiageto 1500 grit, 7"x2"x3/4". Anyone have experience for using one of these for honing a straight?

    I didn't use the stone in question, but if you have one, than in that grit range it will do the task. If you want to buy a stone for bevel setting than you would be better off with something more commonly known like King or Naniwa.
