    There are some stones appearing "comparable" to the black/blue metallic looking Special Stones only for Good razors...

    I also own three of these hard type stones with these glittering inclusions, a crosscheck identified mine to be a Pierre Aiguiser Naturelle de Saurat...

    Talking with several a people we came to the conclusion that depending on the lapping level in thinking of finess...they can be quite good performers..

    Using with water they give a harsh uncomfortable shave, using oil my grit estimation is above 6k-8k, some seems to get a bit higher then that...

    The interesting thing is that your example is stamped and ive only seen one other example of those stamped hones, its from Modine on R&S....these just do look to different from the metallic looking special Stones...with their sometimes visible pockmarks.
