Default I got Naniwa hones. all of them

they aren't labeled to the grit. the first one I received is a combo 1k and 6k I assume the "yellow side" is the 6k AND THE other is the 6 k which is brownish pink or yellow. Am I correct? I also got a 12k from srd and 5k blue as well as 3K/8K WHICH IS BROWN AND YELLOW. THE 1K 6K DOESNT SEEM TO BE NANIWA ITS A KING
WHICH SIDE IS 1K AND WHICH SIDE IS 1K? I CAN TELL BY THE GRIT BUT WANTED TO BE SURE

I'm not sure but I think you are holding a Naniwa Japanese Combination Waterstone 1k and 3k. I'm not sure if it's a SS.

The "red" side is 1k and the "tan" side is 3k...I think.
