Identify this stone please
I would love to know what this stone is. It feels like a higher grit above 8k but I am not experienced enough to know.

Hard to say from just one photo but if the stone is very hard it looks like a Black Arkansas to me.

To me, it looks like a plate of steel with diamonds on it.

Typically, those of us who guess like to get a side, top, and end view of the stone. Preferably taken in macro, in daylight sun. Slurried, wet, and dry.

It appears to be see through, perhaps some kind of synthetic glass hone?

In this picture I can see through the top. Try wetting both sides and then check if you can look through it.
