Another Rock To Name
I picked this up in an antique store today. It is extremely hard. It took me over an hour on my DMT to lap it. It looked smooth and felt smooth to begin with, but it had stains that I lapped out.
It's glued in the box and is as smooth as silk.

its a finisher. Its a natural stone so grit really is not able to be given.

I was hoping that it was a Coticule! It took forever to lap out the stains. I paid $20 + tax so I won't whine too much. Magpie let me try it out and I'll let you know.

Thanked: 247RIP to your DMT.
That's a tran Arkansas, as already stated.
If you consider the death of your DMT into the price tag, it may not have been worth it.
I'll bet it'll be about the same as a coticule for finishing ability. Ofc, I'm not really a lover of coticules. And my relationship with Arkies is more about patriotism than honing efficiency.

Thanked: 480make sure to read up about preping the surface before you go to finish a razor on it. Best edges achieved with proper surface prep!
