Thread: Dubl Good Day!

Today I got both my Dubl Duck Barber Hone, and my Escher. Both as described. I lapped the Escher as outlined here, and coated the bottom with Krylon and the end with Sally Hanson Hard as Nails. I had some razors that were ready, shaved arm hair like crazy, gave them all 40 laps on the Escher and they seemed like another razor! I did not have a slurry stone, so just used water. Works great. Now I have

I'd be interested to hear your impressions on the dubl duck. I just got a swaty & haven't used it yet, but am looking forward to it. I have been using my little Celebrated Water Hone (made by Escher) as a finisher after my coticule, but am excited to learn about barber's hones (don't know much about them!)

sounds like you have the best setup you need if your razors are shaving like you say they are. I dont see a need for another stone, but I do see a want for one lol. enjoy man. I am envious of that setup you got
