I'm gonna get so stoned!
Just got in my Norton stones. I have the 250/1000 combo and the 4000/8000 combo. I have the Norton flattening stone and followed them all with a Shapton 16K.
Happy and almost ready to get busy.
Could use some more advice/hints on lapping and what I need to use to keep the 16K flat.

I just got two Shapton stones myself. A friend I work with knows the owner of a woocraft store close to us, I got a steal on them. Two stones for $40!

I cannot comment on the norton flattening stone i use a DMT 325 for all my lapping.Last edited by Martin103; 01-23-2013 at 03:49 PM.
