Since you have been honing for several months, maybe it's time to send a razor to someone who you know is a veteran shaver and let them evaluate your edge. Other than face to face meetings with veteran honers, this is what I would consider your next step as I'm sure you have a "pro-honed" razor to compare your edges/shaves to.

That is an excellent idea. I do have a few pro honed razors but I think someone else evaluating mine would be more helpful. I have a Hart I honed and it shaves good but I know a pro can get a little more out of it. IM scared to touch it too much so I have been meaning to send it to Glenn to hone and ask him what he thought. If anyone wants to look at mine Im game.
