    Default Getting an edge

Ok... So I don't have a razor yet... but I will... thing is... when I do get one I'll need to sharpen it, either when I first get it or after some use. So... what kinda stone do I use? Where can I get one? Anything else I need to know, any other tools I'm not aware of?

I'm guessing I should not use should not use sharpening devices that work for my other knives, there is a tool I use to sharpen knives its basically different coarseness levels of sand type paper that runs on a wheeled device....

No I would not. Using wheels create a high amount of friction and can heat the blade and screw up the temper, warp the blade, etc. I would stick to waterstones at first. Look on Youtube and find videos on honing by Gssixgun or Lynn Abrams. They have some great stuff out there.

The only way to sharpen a razor is by hand on the proper stones. As suggested above, check out Lynn's and gssixgun's videos. It's the only way.
