    Default Buying a used hone

I'm looking at buying a hone... If it was to be used is there anything I should specifically look for in the hone besides the obvious chips splits etc.. Is there anything that can go wrong with hones ..

Its a hard question as you havent said what you want to buy is. I dont know anything about naturals with the exception on chinese 12ks. Buying a hone sight unseen could be a problem if the stones arent lapped or they are chipped. And it would be really important to know the grit as guesses wouldnt work in that area. You might think the stone is a 4 k or 8 k and might use them in reverse order. A used what hone? Natural synthetic? We would need some more info.

I love mine. If you can see it before why not. Its a great finisher IMO. If not then a return policy and good feedback if that's where your buying from.
