Shopping Trip Today ... Need a lil help from the Rockhounds :) Pic heavy
Hey Fellas:
Went out today and couldn't leave these there
Got a couple of Coticules and an UNKNOWN ????
Small Coti - 1 1/2" x 6 7/8" x 5/8" thick
Larger Coti - 1 7/8" x 8" x 13/16" thick
Unknown Stone - 2" x 5 3/4" set in wood block (slurry's easily on 400 wet dry)

so where were you shopping that you found three very nice looking hones? I have trouble finding aluminum oxide hones at shops around here.

Thanks for the reply Adrspach, I suspected it may be a Charnley but I havent seen very many, I thought they were nearly fictional

Yea I believe so, both of the Cotis have a beautiful purpleish and grainy looking BBW backing them. The slurry when lapping is a nice pink purple. these stones feel so nice all lapped up. I wish i could make out the label on the Larger Coti but I'm sure it will be lost in lapping. Do you or anyone else recognize it?
