Martin was just offering some advice before you try a straight razor on the hone and damage the edge. You have no reason to shout here and really no reason to be rude.
I know nothing about your hone. Perhaps a member here will have some more information for you.Bob

Thanked: 13249Chris I have merged your threads and moved them into the right sub-forum
Some etiquette
ALL CAPS is considered Yelling on a forum and slightly rude
SRP is all about helping people out, keep in mind the we are limited to this single media to communicate,, so please try and be as polite as possible as things can be taken very wrong within those limitations..
See I would think you were being pretty rude to Martin from your post, but I believe I am wrong about that and that I just took it in the wrong light...
Keep all this in mind with future posts

Yes the Aparts are very good hones I have had several go through my hands Lap it clean, and give it a try, I found the ones I had to have a nice velvety action while honing
Good shaving edges too
Hope that helps
