    Oh good to know... No, I meant the different colors of Escher stones. I figured someone here might have info on these stones which somewhere would indicate the grade.

    All of them were gray. The only one that was really distinct IMHO was the dark blue. If a person has had a lot of experience with the various color Eschers they can maybe tell a yellow green from a blue green but a y/g from a light green is more difficult. Anyway, whatever the color, if it is a good razor hone is what matters. Most of them were that.
