Thanked: 14Razor stone "Hall of Fame"
I would like to start a thread about what stones would make the "honing hall of fame"
My entry would be the Norton 8K

Thanked: 3A really good specimen of Surgical Black Arkansas stone that isn't too hard and glassy.
I have a 4x2x1 that is "IT", and a 6x2x1 and 4x3x1 that are nice, but not quite the same.
I'd love to hand-pick me an 8x2x1 Black Arkansas in person.Last edited by 1KnifeGuy4U; 05-31-2013 at 03:02 AM.

I suggest we exclude all Jnats as there already is a Jnat Club thread.
The white gleam of swords, not the black ink of books, clears doubts and uncertainties and bleak outlooks.

Only logical, since a Jnat can't hold up with that beautiful Cnat.

Going for the lowly Norton 4/8 to get them to fine finishers. The absolute bomb!
"Don't be stubborn. You are missing out."
I rest my case.
