One of these was going for 5 € last week at the german ebay small advertisements.
Unfortunately I was some minutes too late ....

5€ what a bargain, not my bargain (paid much more for my second) but a sensational price for such a stone!

An old lady who cleaned up the barn after her husband died. She didn't know what she was selling. Just a natural, very smooth stone that her husband used to sharpen whatever........

Well, I was quick in enough, addresses and bank details had been exchanged and I even had already transferred the money to the seller who then informed the next day that he had sold it to someone else who had come to pick it up . I was quite mad... But that's the problem with the ebay small advertisements - you can't do anything about it, not even leave a negative feedback

    Cheers

Oh yes, that happens often at Ebay Small advertisments, sometimes you find the same advertisment on the regular auctions page too, just like double counts better, dab for us in most cases.

Just tested the New One (the left on the Pics).
It produces easily much slurry, i guess it can be used without a slurry stone.
You can feel that it bites more than the other one, its sounds like using a dry 800 SuperStone but
the Result is fine, similar to the other one (that on the Right) but more polished like the typical slate dull look of the Edge.
I used it on a Cast Steel Framback Blade and two 69 TI´s, tomorrow ill test them if the Result is pretty fine on my skine :-)
