    Default Boss Barber Hone

I guess you could say its a newbie question even know I touch up and hone my own razors. So I just picked up my first Barber Hone off the bay for a great little price but I'm wondering if its even worth having or did my RAD just kick in. I have the norton 1,4 and 8k also a naniwa 12k so was the BH worth getting? And do I just do 4 to 6 laps with a little lather on the BH? And should I or could I lap this with my norton lapping stone? I get great buttery smooth edges when touching up with my 12k but I was thinking for those quick touch ups that just take a couple laps on a BH Any input would be great.

Thanks Again And Enjoy The Shaves Gentlemen

Of course it's worth having, they don't make them anymore. If its in good condition, even the better.
If you have more than one razor, dedicate one of them to the barber hone only for touch ups; compare it to the razor you touch up on the 12K.
***Keep in mind, different razors of grind & steel will not quite feel the same when comparing. *****
A little water or cream smeared over the BH, about 6 to eight light strokes, strop,,,,too much angle will roll the edge,,, then your back to the 12K.
