    Default one sided bevel

I have a razor whose previous owner seems to have honed it only on one side. There is a bevel, albeit a poor one on one side, and absolutely none on the other side. Should i just hone on one side until the bevel is equal again.
I had no idea this was the problem with this razor until today, i just got a microscope and saw it! Strange thing is i managed to get it to shave reasonably before i knew this.

Hone both sides with a coarse grit sandpaper, 1K is about right. They should even up fairly rapidly. Then go to the 4K etc.
