Thanked: 5Huge "Kudos" for Glen!
About a month ago I purchased an Elderly "Wosty" from EBay and as somewhat typical, it didnt look as good as I expected when I received it. After disassembly and an enormous amount of hours hand sanding and buffing I was now ready to began honing. Started with bread boarding (nicks on edge) and after removal began trying to re-establish an edge. Smile profiles are a bitch! Essentially, I pretty much trashed the edge and I was going to toss the blade. Patience prevailed and I just couldn't toss the blade. I emailed Glen and he quickly responded to get it in the mail to him. I received the razor back yesterday, and it literally looks new and honed so nicely and sharp that I'm almost afraid to use it , but I will. Thus far I have restored/refurbished Approx. 12razors from honing, making new scales, repinning, etc only because of the expert help of all of the videos and Maestros.
This is a great site SRP and I am grateful to all of the contributors..
If u need help or professional honing I would highly recommend that you contact Glen for his expert services.
Best Regards,
BloodBath (Jim)

Thanked: 13249Keep in mind Jim did most of this restore, that polishing was all him same with the restore on the scales, his work looked great when I got the razor..
All I really did was correct the old hone wear and pin that puppy up
Now granted the Honing was a bit of a bear but I was pretty happy with how even I finally got the bevel to pop
