Thanked: 0Muller Update
Now that all the NOS thuringien and original thuringian stones are pretty much of the retail market.
It seems I can only find the
MST Muller, "Natural Water Stone" example from here for 130$ for 8x2 or from here for 30$
Or the
Herbertz Muller found here for 30$ or at Olivias here for a similar price.
Three questions;
1. Is there any difference between the two mullers' (MST vs Herbertz) stones?
2. Why is the MST version from the first link so much more?
3. Are either of these stones worthy finishers?
I know this has been discussed in the past but I just started looking for new natural stones recently and missed all the excitement that took place over the last few years and am just joining the game now. And at that time a lot of the confusion stemmed from the various options even from within one company, while now it seems (at least for the larger sizes) each muller only offers one stone. So we can compare apples to apples. And the stones they are selling now aren't the same as the ones from back then.
I am not looking to compare them to escher or even thuringians just to each other, and clarify if either one of the currently on market stones are worthy finishers.
Thank you for your help.Last edited by jaf; 09-23-2013 at 04:53 AM.
