    No matter how good a products reputation is it is almost inevitable that some sub par items get out for purchase. Nobody is perfect. OTH if you don't make a point if insisting it be made right which draws the attention of the maker to the fact that QC might need to be tightened up, more sub par products may get out to the end users. A good company does not want it's reputation to be undermined by unknowingly having sub par items get out the door.

    At the very least, if you fix it yourself let both the vendor and Hart know of your dissatisfaction.

    Yes I agree with you. You can't fix what you don't know about. I have already sent and email to the vendor make them aware of this issue and will follow up with one to Hart. I will fix it myself though as it is more hassle than it is worth to send it back and get it fixed.
