I think I did it
After attempting to hone 2 other razors I think I got it right this time. The bevel is even or really close to it. Started on a norton 1k and then went to the 4k/8k. It's a little bit loud popping the hairs on my arm but slices them clean from the base of the hair all the way to the tip. Won't be home to shave test until tomorrow but I have my hopes high. Some replacement scales and I'll be happy with it so long as it shaves well.

Had a great shave with it. 2 passed to bbs. Just got horn blanks in today and will be working on making scales.
