My Rodgers wedges have been like the tree stump in the movie "Shane" (or the rock in Pale Rider - same movie). I know I'll get it one of these days but it's gonna take some work.
I actually had these shaving acceptably and one pretty good but in trying to get them better it seems like I hit a wall.
I watched Glen's "Honing a Smiling Wedge" series again and was dreaming about light pressure on the bevel setting. I then noticed I had chiped it in several places and busted off the ivory scales.
I was very relieved when I woke up.I love living in the past...

That's too funny! But I guess it shows you're serious about this all. Good videos by Glen - I learned a trick in it about smiling blades. Good luck to you - it all comes together with practice.
