Prepping a DMT Sharpening Card for slurry work
I picked up an Extra Fine DMT Dia-Sharp card primarily for use as a slurry stone on a Zulu Grey. Before it touches any of my stones I would expect it needs some kind of prepping to knock off any loose diamond particles and avoid scratching the delicate stones.
I can rub it on another DMT... I have 2x6 in three grits. I can rub it on a screwdriver shaft, the side of one of my stones or my forehead.. All of which should be harder and courser and harder than the DMT card..
Suggestions??
