Medium hone
I have just recived a big thuringer hone, 8x3 inch, wich is supposed to be a 8000-12000 grit hone.
Is super for fine polish, but i need a coarser hone to restore my Ebay blunt razors.
I have the polish hone, but it seems very slow cutter.
I have a big waterstone in the 1000 grit range
Now I'm looking for a medium hone, but I don't know what to buy
The norton combo seems the better choice, but it's very expensive in Europe.
I Can buy a Rozsuctec natural stone (4000-6000grit-size), a japanese waterstone (6000 jis gritsize) or choose a couple of tilly's barber hone, cruschion and gem.or a carborundum hone
I can even buy a belgian stone combo, but since I have alredy a very big and nice thuringer, it didn't seems a great Idea
What do you tink about?

Thanked: 2209I would go with the 6K Japanese stone if you are using it to keep a razor sharp. I would chose a 4K if you are working on Ebay razors.
