    Default 8000x Gold Stone

Does anyone here have any opinion on the 8000x Gold Water
stone from Lee Valley? Is there any comparison to the yellow
    Belgium?
    Thanks...

Coticule is finer but you can find finer abrasives lik chromium oxide for less. This stone may cut slower than the 8k Norton.

    Default Norton than what?

I already use the Norton 4k/8k and it for sure is the best! After
using the Norton I am using a Japanese Water Stone for a final polish.
But I am not happy with it, The Belgium yellow stone is really expensive. What else do you suggest?

Paddle pasted with 0.5 micron Chromium Oxide works for me.
