any worcester honers?
I live just a little south of worcester ma. And was wondering if anybody in the area would consider themselves an experianced honer. I am sort of hitting a wall, and looking for advice that just seems to make so much more sense to see, rather than to read about such as pressure and such. If your out there and could help show me some stuff, or even just do some honeing services without the risk of shipping I would greatly appreciate it. Thaks in advance.

Thanked: 3795Sorry to see that no one has responded to you. As one of the few here who at least knows how to pronounce your home town, I'll offer to try to help from afar. If you think a phone call or a Skype session would help, send me a PM to arrange it.

its 'theperfectedge.com' Howard is a good guy. I had him hone a razor and hung around to watch/learn. I learned some things from him and incorporated them into my own 'style' if you will. I will say that the razor he honed for me was incredibly sharp! He used a progression of shapton glass stones from 1k to 30k for my razor.

p.s. I live in Clinton, MA I am still fairly new (< 1 yr) to the honing game but I could try to help out if I can. Send me a PM
