    Default Will I be okay with this

    After I use a a Norton 4/8k stone, will I be okay to use a TI paddle strop, one side being pasted with the TI paste, the other side being unpasted? I only ask because I do not own any other strops or stones.

    I'm not sure about the grit of the TI paste. It could be rougher than the 8k surface, thus taking you a step back.

    The TI paste works well on some razors and not so well on others. It turns from White to black from the metal pretty quickly. You might want to stay within 5-10 strokes at a time when using and see how it goes. I had some on a linen side of a strop for a while.
