    Default Online Industrial Supply Corp.

    I'm looking for a place to buy sandpaper in bulk, and Online Industrial Supply seems like it has good prices.

    Has anyone ever tried their 1000-grit sandpaper for lapping Nortons? Or any of their sandpapers, for that matter?

    Default Sandpaper on price?

    Like other knifemakers, I go through a fair amount of sandpaper every year. It's one product I don't buy on price. Cheap sandpaper, of which there is an abundance, is an abomination. I like American made 3M or Norton and German made Klingspor. Klingspor is an industrial standard due to the quality of its bond, the eveness of it's grit and it's durability. Ask the company about the brands they carry and if possible get some samples before you commit to a 10lb sheaf of sandpaper.
