Thread: I don't like taping the spine.

I tried setting the bevel on a Filarmonica without tape and really damaged the spine. I didn't feel like I was using a lot of pressure. I was emulating Lynn Abrahm's 40 circle strokes on each side. Didn't want to risk that happening to another nice razor.

I swear new Filarmonicas are animals all their own! I wish I had taped mine! I swear on mine thst they didn't use the spine to originally hone it lol!

Hey earcutter. I thought about you yesterday as I sliced my earlobe open with a spike point razor. Lol sorry that was off topic but I figured this thread was already beat to death. Why not?

You know its funny you bring that up. I thought I was past my earcutting days. Then today, I was kind of racing the clock, using what amounts to a 3/8 that i am not too acquanted with when balm! Oddly enough it was my right ear this time!

We need to start a club!
