    Default Another hone ID challenge

I was given this today by a barber. He new nothing about it and said it was his dads.

It has a veiney appearance that is almost 3d looking. Produces slurry very quick which is a milky Grey color. I put a razor to it and it increases sharpness beyond 8k. It has an almost suction feel on slurry and reminds me of the thuri I just got when on slurry. It feels very velvety and cuts fast. On water it has the same velvety feel only a little harder.

I have included wet and slurry pics and one next to my dmt8c for size comparison.

*edit - I only say this because the slurry looks slightly purplish in color in the photos

I have 3 bbw's and they all slurry purplish. And none of them feel as soft while honing. Nor are they near as fast.

I'm thinking thuri but haven't seen one this size before. Its around 5x2 3/4
