Thanked: 25Looking for hand held microscope
I have seen a hand held microscope in several videos for checking razor edges.
The one I have in mind is about 4" to 5" with twin barrels. One may be the light/batteries and the other the scope.
I have dug around without any luck identifying the make or model.
I would appreciate any help with this.
Thanks.

The Radio Shack illuminated hand-held 60-100x used to be quite popular here, and I still see them. I like mine & use it all the time; it shows chips invisible to the naked eye while still low enough mag to hold a stable field in the hand.
Keep your pivot dry!

Maggards razors has them for pretty inexpensive. Not sure if it is lighted though.

Thanked: 25Heavydutysg135 uses one in his honing video. I sent a PM asking about it.
The Radio Shack one is shaped somewhat like what I'm looking for. I'll give them a look.
I am hoping to see the scratch pattern real clearly.

I got this for $6.00 off ebay, 45x and LED. it's fine for checking the progress of my honing.
The next magnifier I'll buy will be a USB microscope.
