I just got my razor back from Nelson or on the fourm bayamontate. Ill tell you since I started shaving I haven't had such a close and smooth shave as when Nelson honed and fixed my razor. I was just awed how smooth and close the shave was especially under my neck. I just can't believe the shave I am now getting from my razor. This guy is like a razor doctor.

Sorry I just did my second shave and my shaves have now become smoother and closer than a Mach 3 or 4 with no irritation!!
Before my razor was sharp, but harsh left a lot of irritation.

everyone can have there Meisters but NY has "The Maestro" of honing. Nelson I christian thee "The Maestro" of honing. "El Maestro" in spanish

I know this is an old thread but I was wondering if you still hone straight razors or know of anyone in nyc that does. I just got a new TI that I think needs a hone. It was supposed to come shave ready but I'm not that satisfied with the sharpness/closeness of my shaves so far. Please let me know. Thank you!
