Thread: Knifeware Honing Service, Alberta

Good day,

Just wondering if anybody has actually used the honing service offered by the Knifeware stores in Alberta, specifically the one in Edmonton on Whyte Ave? Any feedback?

I spoke to them and they said they have 3 or 4 persons who look after razors, with 2-5 years of honing experience, and they do sell razors that have been restored by these workers. Does anybody have personal experience with them?

There are a couple of guys in Edmonton that hone. PM me if you want details. I have no feedback from that outlet, some of the guys from cowtown didn't have much nice to say about the abilities of the knife ware store there.
