Thread: A California Mentor needed for a honing instruction.

Hi there,

I'm in need of some one on one instruction on "how to hone" my razors properly so I can shave like we men did for hundreds of years. I'll then be able to pass on the tradition like so many other of you have. My electric razor is not completing me.

I'll travel anywhere! A nice guy in Portland was more then happy to help me, but a California fella would be even better.

Welcome to the forum - there happen to be several local guys that are very experienced honers (decades between them). I won't speak out of turn for anyone in particular but maybe someone will chime in.
We were scheduled to have a summer meet but got postponed due to family needs so keep an eye out for a reschedule there too.
In the mean time, we always like pics so if you have them it'd be cool to see your razors!
Also are you currently shaving with any straights?
