Thanked: 101Trouble with a Shumate #25
I am having no trouble with any of my straight's except a really nice looking Shumate #25. I have done nothing different to it than the rest of my vintage razors so any thought's or advice would be a BIG help!

Thanked: 13246A little more info would be helpful
Pic of the razor both sides and what you are using would help us help you
Without that we are shooting in the dark and you are going to get some well intentioned yet useless feedbackLast edited by gssixgun; 10-01-2014 at 03:30 PM.

Thanked: 101My granddaughter stole my cord to hook the phone to the puter'. There really is no wear to speak of on the spine. I touched up the bevel with my Barbers hone using instructions from this site & it appears ok. One thing I have found with this blade is it sounds dead compared to any of my other blades. I went over the blade with a 10 power loupe & could find no cracks or obvious problems.
I will get Pics. up as soon as I can.
