I had a lot of old kitchen knives that had been used hard and never sharpened. They had almost zero for a bevel. I used my DMT325 and I also thought I ruined it but after a careful look under the mic I cleaned it and it is like new. I doubt you could wear out a DMT

Thanked: 3795You don't wear out the diamonds, but you can lose them by undercutting the relatively soft substrate that holds them in place. Lots of people here have experience with this.
