Question What finising pastes do I need ?

    Hello
I was thinking about getting a nice paddle strop with two sides (WIDE) from Tony or something
    Now
    What do you think?
What pastes should I have on it for polishing my razor? after I have got the Norton 8000 and the yello Belgian stone ?
    I was thinking about 0.25 and 0.5 vs 0.5 and 1.0
    What do you think?

After the yellow Coticule: 0,5 (15 strokes) and 0,25 (40 strokes)
or only 0,5 (20 strokes) and plain strop.
    Happy shavings!

If you have tough stubble, 0.25 may create an edge that's too weak. You'd also be forced to use a diamond abrasive if you want to go that fine, which may be a bit harsh on really sensitive skin.

So, maybe I should go for a 1.0 and 0.5 only?

If you have the yellow belgian then only the 0.5 chrome oxide is likely to be useful.

No, if you have yellow coticule you need only 0.5 or 0,5 and 0,25!

Make sure you use Chromium Oxide. Its particles are smoother than diamond, thus giving you a smoother polish of the edge and amazing shaves.
