    While very narrow, the bevel IS consistent along the entire length except for the toe.

    That is good and what people strive for. All I am saying is that it is not always necessary that the bevel be small and consistent in width to have a razor that shaves well. All you need is for the edges of the bevel to meet and the sides smooth for a good edge. I did not mean for you to get the impression that I thought yours was NOT consistent in width. Just that sometimes it is not possible to get a cosmetically good looking bevel, which yours is, and a funky looking bevel can shave well.

    Half the angle of the dangle,

    divided by the width of the blade equals,

    it does not matter…

    if it shaves well.
