I just want to give a sincere and huge thanks to Glen for taking the time to show me the ins and outs of honing two weeks ago. He came into town in a very snowy Sandpoint, Idaho to show me how to hone and I appreciate it tremendously. He showed me in person the form of honing on his and my stones, which is especially important because I had gotten bad advice on my form. He gave some very helpful hints as far as slurries on my stones, and angles for pushing the blade. He took my dull-witted questions with patience and was incredibly helpful in his answers. In addition, he showed me how to properly strop, an activity I needed to be properly shown as I had been, again, shown a bad technique. Most importantly, I want to thank him for showing me IN PERSON how to hone and care for my razor. It is one thing to direct me to videos, but he, instead, instructed me in person. This, I believe, is more important than anything. Again, thanks Glen.
