    Default Both sides of the stone

    Ive just started using the naniwa stones 1,4,8,&10000 grit. Can and does anyone lap and use both sides. I cant see why not. But i better ask

    I use one side of my naniwa super stone for razors and second side for knives when I am in mood. So I would say go ahead and there is no problem. You can't lap shaptons glass stones on both sides but others stones certainly yes.

    There's no reason why you "can't"...I personally only used one side & sealed the other side when I had mine. This helped with the lower grits high thirst for water.
